A local up passenger train at Luddendenfoot water troughs is hauled by ex-LYR Class 5 (or '1008' class) 2-4-2T No.10622 in LMS livery. She became BR No.50622 in January 1950 and was withdrawn in August 1952. The quality of the image and the wooden-arm lower-quadrant signals suggest it is a
pre-war picture.
