Station Name: LYME REGIS

A train from Axminster approaches Lyme Regis station c. 1964. The goods yard closed in February 1964 and the sidings were quickly lifted. Note the Southern Railway target name sign in the foreground fixed to a gas lamp with a barley-sugar twist standard, also a typical Southern Railway feature.
