Looking east along platform 1 at Manchester Mayfield station in 1957.

Manchester Mayfield station looking west in June 1980 during the period when it was a parcels depot. The view was taken from the east end of platform 1 at which a rake of parcels vans stands. A class 08 locomotive is seen on shunting duties. A parcels DMU stands at platform 3 within the trainshed and further vans are stabled at platform 5.
