An eastbound train arrives at Melrose station from Edinburgh Waverley in September 1961. 60093 was named 'Coronach' after the 1926 winner of the Derby and St Ledger races. This Gresley-designed A3 was built at Doncaster in 1928 and was withdrawn from Carlisle Canal, 12B on 24.4.1962 to be cut up at Doncaster shortly after.
