Station Name: MICKLEHURST

A close-up view of the south-east corner of Micklehurst station building in May 2015. The red brick is relieved by string courses of pale stone and blue engineering brick – the latter material being used on the Micklehurst Loop for bridges and goods warehouses. The ‘dentillated’ cornice formed of red bricks can be seen below the roof-line. The totem sign is in BR(LM) colours with a clear, but
non-standard, typeface.
