A more broadside view of the goods shed in June 2006. This is the track side of the building and ivy covers the bricked-up rail entrance. If it were not for the existence of the shed it would be difficult to appreciate a railway once existed at this particular spot. Ahead of the photographer would have been the road passing through the goods shed; the goods loop alongside this, south, face of the shed; the running line; and, a few yards ahead of the camera where the ground rises, the west end of the run-round loop plus its headshunt and spur to the turntable. An idea of the layout in operational days can be gained from the aerial view seen earlier.
