Station Name: MORFA MAWDDACH

Camping coach at Morfa Mawddach in 1963. Mark Daley tells us "My first holiday was there in 1963 with my family in the camping coaches! We got there from Chester on the train - I assume via Llangollen. It was paradise, as it would have been for any four year old boy. I remember I’d always run into the platform when a train went by and the driver would always wave back: this kept me amused for days… And the walk into Barmouth alongside the line: it was a very long way for four year old legs."
