Station Name: NOTTINGHAM LONDON ROAD HL london_road_h123.jpg) Demolition taking place in August 2014 of the last remaining bit of viaduct that used to carry the line between High Level and Weekday Cross junction. This is viewed from beneath the new viaduct that carries the Nottingham Express Transit on the alignment of the former Great Central viaduct. The permanent feature on the horizon is the ancient church of St Mary.
