Station Name: NOTTINGHAM LONDON ROAD LL [Source: Nick Catford] london_road_ll_old66.jpg) An Ivatt 4F is seen heading east past the outer goods dock at the Low Level station c1949. 43040 is in pristine condition having been built in May 1949 at Horwich Works. It had a working life of just 17 years being withdrawn from North Blyth shed in November 1966 to be cut up at Clayton & Davie, Dunston-on-Tyne in March 1967.
