A compound heads east past the Low Level station with a Nottingham to Lincoln service c1951. Nottingham London Road Junction signal box is seen on the left. 41181 was built for the LMS by the Vulcan Foundry in December 1925. This Fowle- designed 4P-A lasted until October 1957 when it was withdrawn from Gloucester Barnwood shed and cut up a month later at Derby works.
