Oswestry station frontage in May 1995; the building was the offices of the Cambrian Railway. The station building has been acquired jointly by Oswestry Borough Council along with Advantage West Midlands' Rural Regeneration Zone, the European Regional Development Objective II Programme and the Market Town Initiative programme and in 2005 the building was completely refurbished as part of a regeneration of Oswestry Town centre. It is hoped that one day trains will again run into the station.
