The north end of Oswestry station seen in 1963 as a 'Manor' class locomotive was passing through.


On 25 September 1963 British Railways 2-6-4T locomotive number 80136 is seen standing at the north end of the Oswestry station up platform having just taken on water. The engine was at the head of a Whitchurch train.

A rail tour is seen passing north through Oswestry on 17 January 1965.


On a wet day in February 1965 passengers make their way to a Gobowen service formed of a two coach DMU. To the right a loght engine is seen waiting for a signal to allow it to proceed northwards. Oswestry had lost its through passenger services in the January of that year and only
the Gobowen service remained
