Pencader station looking north in July 1958. The cattle dock and pens are seen on the right. 2200 is about to pick up the single line token and is working a class K pick up freight. This loco is a 2251 class 0-6-0. Designed by C.B.Collett and built at Swindon works in 1938, it had a working life of just over 24 years when it was withdrawn from 82D, Westbury shed in September 1962 to be cut up by Cashmores of Newport in June 1964.
