Station Name: POPLAR (1st Site)
Pumping station and hydraulic accumulator tower for Poplar Dock in September 2007. This was adjacent to a a branch line to the Midland Railway Dock from a junction just west of the first Poplar Station. The branch was in a cutting passing to the right of the pumping station and under Brunswick Street which passed from left to right in front of the accumulator tower.
