Riddings Junction looking south in 1956. An Edinburgh train stands in the down platform. 61221 was built in August 1947 by North British Loco Co for the LNER and was named 'Sir Alexander Erskine-Hill', entering service at Haymarket shed. This Thompson-designed B1 lasted until withdrawal from 62B, Dundee Tay Bridge shed on 27.3.65 and was scrapped by Shipbreaking Industries, Faslane in May 1965.
