The last Royal Train to visit Rowsley departing from the station on 6th July 1933. The new Express Dairy premises on the left were not officially opened until the 20th of the month. The lines in the foreground lead to the Old Yard and the site of the first shed. At this time, some of these were used for stabling Express Dairy tanks and wagons of locomotive coal.
