Scremerston station seen from a southbound train on 7 September 1972. The stone rear wall of the up platform is in the foreground but the platform itself has long been demolished. The northern elevation of the station building is seen with its profusion of gables, and the deep overhangs of the gables on the platform elevation are visible.
