Looking north up Thrum Hall Lane in June 2016. Several yards ahead the trackbed of the Facit Branch crosses the lane, and an old concrete post that supported a crossing gate can be seen on the right. Similar posts are visible on each side of the lane beyond the former crossing. This was one of only two level crossings on the old railway between Rochdale and Bacup.
