Looking east along the trackbed of the Facit Branch, between the sites of Shawclough & Healey and Wardleworth stations in June 2016. A few yards ahead is the point where Thrum Hall Lane crosses the trackbed. This was an unattended level crossing; the only other level crossing on the line was at Tonge End, where there was a gatekeeper until the 1950s.
