The site of Sherwood station looking north from beneath Sherwood Vale bridge in April 2011. The platforms ran under the bridge. Briarwood Court is seen under the bridge. This was built in 1985 and is on the site of the station building. Beyond is the high rise block Winchester Court which was built on the site of the goods yard in 1965.
