Disused Stations: South Gosforth Station

The down platform of South Gosforth station looking north-west in April 1973. The chimney stacks on the station building have recently been reduced in height. Only the BR(NE) running-in boards gave the station’s name at this time, but corporate identity nameplates were added to the lamps
three months later.
