1914 1:2,500 OS map. The goods yard has been further expanded with the siding running through the foods shed extended to the west to serve a long loading dock. Another parallel siding has been added to the south serving an outer face of the northern passenger platform which could also be used as a dock. The single-road rail-motor shed which opened in 1904 is seen between the Brentford branch and the Maypole Dairy. There have been numerous other changes to the track layout around the engine shed. Southall West signal box is seen to the west of the road bridge. The road to the turntable has been realigned with a new 65-foot turntable provided. The triangular building to the south of the station is a large warehouse for the Maypole Dairy with a number of sidings running through it. Note the road serving the dairy is called Margarine Road, it has now been renamed Merrick Road. The outer walls of this building still stand.
