78048 on arrival from Berwick in the down-bound platform, but after the loco ran around in April 1962. The loco was built in October, 1955 to the R.A.Riddles Standard class 2 design. Starting its working life at 64A, St Margarets shed, it moved to 64G, Hawick in July 1960 from where it was withdrawn on 31.7.64 and cut up by Motherwell Machinery and Scrap, Wishaw
