 The inn is at the entrance to the former station yard at Swaffham. It was shown as a public house, not identified by name, on the 1904 OS map. Another hostelry, ‘The Railway Tavern’, lay directly opposite also on the Fakenham road. That is now an antique and building goods reclamation dealer’s premises.
