Station Name: TADCASTER

A northbound excursion arriving at Tadcaster in September 1962. The clump of trees (right) was reputedly to hide Skew Bridge from the view of Major Colley (owner of the maltings alongside the railway).  The open field in the foreground is now the police station, fire station and housing.
