Looking in the Wolverhampton direction, from a passing train, in October 1996. Services had been re-introduced to Old Hill the previous year and the former main line trackbed is being prepared for the Midland Metro lines.

Tram 11 of the Midlands Metro departs from the tram stop which now stands on the site of the main lines and acts as a handy interchange station for passengers from Wolverhampton who wish to travel in the Kidderminster direction.
