The impressive range of station buildings still surviving at Thorp Arch station in April 2013. Closest to the camera is the now extended stationmaster's house. Note the trademark bay window often found in buildings designed by GT Andrews. This allowed the stationmaster to look in both directions along the platform from his sitting room.
