Looking north from Upwey for Broadwey footbridge in 1962. With a very light load for a class 5 loco, this is ex GWR Hall class 4927, 'Farnborough Hall'. Built in May 1929 at the GWR's Swindon works, this class was the GWR equivalent of the LMS Black Five, 'go anywhere do anything'. This loco lasted until September 1963, when it was withdrawn from 87F, Llanelly shed to be scrapped by Cohens, Morriston in January 1964
