Uxbridge Vine Street station in March 1969. The island platform was removed in 1965 leaving just the station buildings and covered concourse and the short east side platform. The trainshed was was part of the station buildings and was therefore retained after the roof was removed. The buildings were demolished a few months later,

Uxbridge Vine Street station entrance in the late 1960's. After closure of the station the building was occupied by two shops but by this date these too had closed and the building was awaiting demolition.

By July 1974 all that remained was a part of the side platform which can be seen to the left of this builders yard.

By March 1975 the builders yard had been cleared and a further part of the platform demolished but a short length still remained in place. The ramp is a recent addition.
