3.jpg) Looking east in August 2010 along the approach road that led up to the goods yard at Waterfoot for Newchurch station. The station itself was directly to the left of the photographer on an embankment that has been partly demolished. The eastern end of the Bury direction platform would have been at a point above the wooden direction post and back towards the trees.
