A Class 313 with the shuttle service to Croxley Green in August 1986. The old maroon BR (LMR) ‘Watford West’ nameboard is accompanied by a corporate identity sign on the lamp which reads ‘West Watford’ – presumably a mistake. By this date the station was part of Network SouthEast, and the West Watford signs would soon be replaced with signs which reassured passengers that the station was still called Watford West.
