Station Name: WESTERHAM |
 |
The date is 10 November 1957 and Inter-regional Ramblers' 'The 'Kentish Heights Special' railtour from Greenford has arrived at Westerham behind Class O1 No.31064. This special also called at Chevening and Brasted. Booked motive power had been, or had included, the ex-GWR City of Truro but this had failed the previous day. The O1 had certainly been spruced-up well; perhaps too well for short notice, so it was possibly booked to haul part of the tour anyway.
