The interior of Westerham's small goods shed, seen here on the final day of the Westerham branch service. The capacity of the crane is not known but these goods shed cranes were generally, but by no means exclusively, within the 10cwt to 1½-ton range. The crane seen above was of wooden construction with iron or steel bracing and its capacity was probably no more than 1 ton. Clearly the shed was not in use that day although there was a van stabled just outside the shed and out of view to the right. The end of all BR services on the branch was not the end for Westerham goods shed as it later became the 'garage' for the Railmobile contraption.
