British Railways former London Midland and Scottish Railway Stanier 8F 2-8-0 locomotive number 48363 of Toton MPD passes by Wigston South Junction signal box running off the up line from Glen Parva Junction onto the Up Passenger line. The photographer is standing on Station Road bridge opposite the entrance to Wigston Magna station.
