7.jpg) The works that were underway in April 2010 as part of a Manchester Metrolink tramway extension that will follow the route of the former Midland line had exposed the remains of the wall that had formed the back of the southbound platform canopy at Withington & West Didsbury Station. The wall can be seen in the centre of the picture.
