 Looking north from the footbridge that connected Wrexham Exchange with Wrexham General as seen in February 2011. To the right is Wrexham General station. To the left can be seen the northern end of what had been until 1981 Wrexham Exchange. The former WM&CQR can be seen curving away northwards towards Buckley. The picture clearly illustrates the close proximity of the two stations that eventually became one.
