and_goodwick13.jpg) Fishguard and Goodwick up platform seen from a passing train in August 1980. The station is still open for seasonal Motorail users at this time and the corporate identity sign and current railway posters gives the impression of an open station.

Fishguard & Goodwick station looking south-west in June 1994. By this date the line had been singled and the down platform demolished. The goods yard has also now closed and the track has been lifted. At this time the station building is still in good condition having been repainted.

The up platform at Fishguard & Goodwick station seen from a passing train in August 1980. The shed line on the far side of the platform is rusty and clearly out of use at this time. Note the entrance door into the signal box locking room is at track level rather than platform level as the box existed before the platform was built.
