A close up view of the platform canopy on the Birmingham platform in the 1960s. Fresh looking Totems adorn the concrete lamp posts, which are of a totally different design than those used at all the other stations along the route.

The LMR spendthrift solution to removing the suffix from the station name in October 1970. It certainly didn't comply with the BR Corporate Image programme of the 1960s.
