The Londonderry Graving Dock station shown on a 25-inch scale map from 1873. At this time Graving Dock was not served by passenger trains which ran to and from Londonderry Middle Quay. It was however used by goods trains. The station reopened for passenger services on 1 January 1888.

Looking south-west along Strand Road at the site of Londonderry Graving Dock station on xx December 2020. Although Strand Road follows its original alignment it is much wider than it was when the railway was in existence. The station had occupied the ground to the left of the traffic island.
